I decided to do Maximum Balloon to get a bunch of pop music out of my system. It’s kind of a band of imagination. You know, I was probably in an imagery band when I was seven, then I pursued being in a real band, and now I’ve reverted back to the imaginary band.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs performed for the Dazed + Confused after party at NYC’s Don Hill’s on Tuesday night to a sweat-drenched crowd of celebrities, fashionistas and other New York elite.  The at-capacity crowd danced shoulder to shoulder as they unleashed the insanity fans have become accustomed to expecting at any YYYs show - did you happen to notice Karen O’s bedazzeled gas mask and homage to the Knights Templar in the picture above?? Hawt!
